Here is an attempt to update you all on our last month and a half of fun.
Kate's Birthday
Kate officially became a toddler on December 13th. It is hard to believe that she is already one. She was sick on her birthday yet she still loved all the chocolate cake and frosting. Kate is such a happy little girl and a very active one too. We can always count on her smile and cheesy grins. Lately she has been fascinated with the elk, deer, turkey feathers hanging on our wall and insists on touching them. She still won't say any words beyond Mom and more, but she lets her wishes known by screaming and screaching. Kate loves to point at things and then make a noise by sucking in air. I always know when Kinsey is bugging her; I think she has devoloped a special scream reserved soley for when Kinsey is in her face or just irritating her. We all love Kate so much and we are so grateful she is part of our family.
Her first baby doll.
She LOVES chocolate!
Christmas
We had such a wonderful Christmas. Kenadee and Kinsey are at that age of excitment and it was fantastic to watch their wonder and enthusiasm. Kate even got into opening presents. Poor Kenadee got a stomach bug Christmas Eve, but Christmas morning drove any remaining stomach cramps away.

Other Happenings
Jared's office flooded New Year's weekend so he went back to work and found 2 inches of standing water throughout. We had some cold weather and one of the pipes froze and busted in 5 places. This is the office they just built in May. Thankfully there was not too much damage and they were able to see patients again the following Wednesday.
Kenadee is reading like crazy. We cannot believe how many words she can read. This last week she has been reading books to Kinsey.
Kinsey is still loving gymnastics and is always willing to show people her scissor kicks and the table. She always keeps us laughing with her silly faces and expressive story telling skills.
Here are some random pictures of our beautiful girls.
Kinsey loves to push Kate around on this fireman truck, but this time figured it would be fun for both of them to squeeze on it.

I curled Kinsey's hair for church today and she loved it. All day she kept asking me if the curls were still there.
Their attempt to blow up balloons.
Kinsey's silly horse riding face. She loves the rocking horse (it is for Kate)
Fun pictures! Thanks for sharing. I am glad there wasn't too much damage in Jared's office. Wow, that would be quite a mess. I hope the clean-up was a smooth process. I just can't imagine! I can't believe that Kate is 1 either! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
